Donations for Omaha Public Library

Donating money or materials to Friends of Omaha Public Library helps support library programs, resources, outreach and opportunities.

Thank you for helping us invest in literacy, lifelong learning, library staff, technology, and educational experiences across Omaha.

Donate Money

All cash donations made to Friends of Omaha Public Library directly support library programs and services.  For example, whether funds are used for reading programs, Discovery Passes, Virginia Frank Memorial writing contest prizes, or Bess Brodkey scholarships for Omaha library staff, know that they are being used wisely and with discretion.

Donate Books & Materials

Friends of Omaha Public Library accepts donations of books and other media that are sold through our book sales to help fund programs, services, and resources at Omaha Public Library.

Donated materials come from the community and from items removed from the library's collection, and every donation helps support lifelong learning across Omaha.
